hi hi hello, how do you do? 
today im going to make an exposition text, it is about the glorification of "do not give up", but i totally againts them.


I regret the glorification of “do not give up”. The “keep up your spirit” and “do not give up” motivation might be familiar to each of us. Thomas alva edison worked 999 attemps on making the light bulb until he made it on his 1000th attemp is one of the example we perhaps heard often.

But actually, do people can not have the option to give up? Or do keep on trying bring more good than harm? Was all the hardwok we’ve put into really worth it?

Lets take a simple example. If you couldn’t make it to your dream uni and then you try again on the second year, and again on your third year. Does give up could be the right answer? The answer is sure thing. Because behind the attemps you did, there are trade off.

There is a thing that motivatior forgot to mention in every lecture about never give up. That there is a sacrifice behind them. You gotta trade something off to do the next and next attempt. And it could be your money, it could be your energy, and one of the most important, it could be your time. You would probobably find another chance if you choose to give up at the first place and be successful. But youre just to blind to see.

Let say you made it on your third year of attemp to get in to your dream uni. You wold feel relieved and satisfied. But take a moment to look back, do all your sacrifices really worth it?

To conclude we must consider every trade off we do in any decision we’re about to make. Don’t let our ambition blind us off.
