Good morning everybody!

glad i'm having you guys now. im back with another part of the chapter "Caption". 


Caption have a certain Social Function. and that is :

Describe or command on a picture, photograph, graph, chart


The Text Structure of Caption can be :

- action/event/ activity

- people/thing that involved

- condition


it also have Language Features, and they are: 

- Noun Phrase for a thing, a person, an animal, a location, etc. which is focused on, with or without a, the, this, those, my, their, etc. 

- Verb Phrase dealing picture/photograph/graph/chart

- spelling, punctuation, and handwriting


Page 15 have two pictures and i have to match the situation and the caption, here's my attemp


Page 17 also have a picture that i have to write the caption about, and here's my attemp


doing a race called "tarik tambang", a few teenages celebrating indonesia's independence day by participating in the famous rope-pulling competition. they look full of spirit and happy.

  Biography #3 hi hi helloooo, im backkk it is the final part of biography. let's take a mment to review what biography is . Biography text is a text tells about the whole or parts of someone’s life. It encompasses the person’s detailed life events, like where she/he was born, grew up, what has she/he achieved in life or how, and later her/his death. The function of biography text are :  1. To know a person’s story  life  2. To give information and educate the readers.  Generic Structure of Biography  - Text Orientation (Introduction) : It is the opening paragraph.
